I’m back from the big splash weekend! I gave a lesson on Monday, had to visit the dentist yesterday and tonight it’s off pike fishing with Paul. Tonight is feeling good, I have a mixture of big flies and small flies and hopefully the water is going to be crystal clear with the pike in a hungry mood! I haven’t fished as much as I would have liked in the last 2 weeks, this only being my second outing but things on the casting front have been busy and Big Splash obviously just had to be done! Fishing is no different and the longer we do it the more we learn about the aquatic environment, the behaviour of our target species, fishing techniques, other wildlife and so on.
