How many species?
Have you ever stopped to think about how many species of animals you may come across during a days fishing?It’s not something I have ever really thought about until yesterday when I was fishing away and started to notice a huge number of frogs in the water. I’ve fallen behind with my every day in May posts which is no surprise really but at least I do have some good excuses! Carrying on from my last post I gave a lesson on Saturday morning which went well, my client did a great job and was very fast to put my advice into practice. He came looking for a tune up and to improve his roll casting so over the course of the morning we developed his roll cast, polished up his overhead loops and also started double hauling. My posts have been delayed the past couple of days as I had my last exam yesterday followed by the evening celebrations and I can report that my body is still slightly worse for wear as I write this! My university career is now done unless I get the urge in the future to return and do a post-grad degree but at the moment that is not likely in the forseeable future. It’s getting closer to that moment that I’ve spoken lots about – the 17th of May. The day when I get as much free time as I want to go and fish and cast as much as I like. Unfortunately though between now and then I have a whole load of studying and an exam to complete and now even the weather has turned against me.
