Ever had a look a mullet swimming about in harbours, estuaries, beaches and thought about trying to catch them? Ever had a crack at trying to catch them? They’re tough! In fact, I’ve never actually caught one, I must address that soon. And whilst this post might be about mullet unfortunately it’s got nothing to do with fishing for them but rather about being armed with a camera and a couple of bits of bread.
These fish were mooching around a harbour in Collioure in the South of France. A few bits of bread was all that was required to get them to pose for the camera.

Great pictures Scott! I’ve had a few on fly in Ireland, not on bread though. They can be dam near impossible. But it’s sight fishing which is rare in Ireland!
Cheers! I need to give it a go… no excuse not to. I’m going to be over in Ireland shortly, will drop you an email, see if you can point me in the right direction for a little fishing.
