Since Steffen left and the BFCC competition took place I haven’t had a fly rod in my hand! I’ve simply been too busy. It’s been rugby world cup matches in the morning, uni during the day and beer at night time as a rough sort of guide. Not to mention that until this week the weather has been atrocious, rain and strong winds. Amazing, thanks to the Indian Summer we are now experiencing warm weather, blue skies and sunshine. I might manage out fishing with Paul tomorrow but it’s not looking too likely at the moment, a lot of work to do.
There’s only around 7 days left in the brown trout season here in Scotland and after that it will be grayling and pike. At least the fishing is never totally over!
